1. Our Commitment

PODTECH Ltd ("PODTECH," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms across our business operations and supply chains. We recognise that modern slavery is a serious crime and a violation of fundamental human rights, encompassing slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking.

This statement is published in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps PODTECH has taken and continues to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.

  • Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy — Sets out our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and the expectations we place on our staff, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Recruitment & Employment Policy — Ensures all employees have the legal right to work in the UK, receive fair terms and conditions, and are paid at or above the National Living Wage.

4. Due Diligence & Supply Chains

We undertake due diligence when considering new suppliers and regularly review our existing supply chains. Our due diligence processes include:

  • Evaluating potential suppliers before they enter our supply chain, including assessment of modern slavery risks
  • Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 as part of our onboarding process
  • Including anti-slavery clauses in contracts with suppliers and business partners
  • Conducting periodic reviews of existing supplier relationships to monitor ongoing compliance
  • Assessing the geographic and sector-specific risks associated with our supply chains
  • Maintaining a preferred supplier list that prioritises ethical and responsible businesses

As a technology consultancy, our supply chain is predominantly composed of skilled professional services, software and hardware vendors, and cloud infrastructure providers. While the inherent risk of modern slavery in our immediate supply chain is assessed as low, we remain vigilant and do not treat low risk as no risk.

5. Risk Assessment & Management

We have assessed the principal risks of modern slavery within our business and supply chains and have identified the following areas of focus:

Recruitment

We use only reputable recruitment agencies that can demonstrate compliance with employment legislation. We verify the right to work for all employees and conduct appropriate pre-employment checks.

Supply Chain Partners

We assess supplier risk based on sector, geography, and business type. Higher-risk suppliers are subject to enhanced due diligence and monitoring.

Overseas Operations

Where we engage with international partners or suppliers, we ensure that labour standards and human rights protections are embedded in contractual arrangements.

Subcontracting

We maintain visibility of subcontracting arrangements within our supply chain and require prior approval for the use of sub-contractors by our suppliers.

6. Training & Awareness

We ensure that awareness of modern slavery risks is embedded across our organisation through:

  • Providing information and guidance on modern slavery to all employees as part of their induction
  • Training relevant staff, particularly those involved in procurement and recruitment, on identifying the signs of modern slavery and the appropriate steps to take
  • Communicating our anti-slavery policies and expectations to all staff and contractors
  • Keeping our leadership team informed about modern slavery developments, legislation, and best practices
  • Promoting a culture of transparency and accountability where employees feel safe to raise concerns

7. Measuring Effectiveness

We use the following key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of our efforts to ensure modern slavery is not taking place in our business or supply chains:

  • Percentage of new suppliers that have completed our anti-slavery compliance process
  • Number of staff who have received modern slavery awareness training
  • Number of concerns raised through our whistleblowing channels and outcomes of investigations
  • Completion of annual supply chain risk assessments
  • Review and update of this statement on an annual basis

8. Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone — employees, contractors, suppliers, or members of the public — to report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains.

Reports can be made through the following channels:
