EPRI Comments on Clean Air Mercury Rule

EPRI submitted detailed technical comments and new research results to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in response to the Agency's December 1, 2004 Notice of Data Availability regarding the Clean Air Mercury Rule (the proposed utility mercury emissions rulemaking). EPRI comments focus on emissions and emerging controls; human health effects issues; the assertion of mercury 'hot spots' and findings regarding that issue; and recent results on mercury cycling and methylation.
