Pod Technologies: Update: 11/2004
Gas-Fired Power Plant NOx Emission Controls and Related Environmental Impacts
A report on control technologies that reduce oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions from gas-fired power plants is available from the California Air Resources Board (ARB). The ARB staff investigated and reported on Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), SCONOx™ catalytic absorption system, turbine-integrated controls, and Zero-Slip™ ammonia reduction technology. The evaluation included the costs of the controls, associated environmental impacts, and emission benefits.

Clean Air Markets Part 75 Policy Manual and EDR Instructions
US EPA Clean Air Markets Division (CAMD) added a Policy Manual and EDR Search to their web site. Earlier this year CAMD posted a version of the Part 75 Policy Manual on the web in searchable format. These documents are designed to help with any monitoring or reporting questions for the Acid Rain Program or the NOx Budget Program.
