Pod Technologies - CAM Facility Map
Overview
The Clean Air Markets (CAM) Facility Map provides locations and information for facilities in the US EPA Clean Air Markets. The file can be viewed in Google Earth or other geographic browsers. Information is based on data available from US EPA Air Markets Program Data.
The Clean Air Markets Division has also created a series of interactive maps that highlight progress of the Acid Rain Program, NOx Budget Trading Program, and Cap and Trade Programs.

Requirements:
Google Earth- Other geographic browsers, such as ESRI ArcGIS Explorer or NASA World Wind
Note: Only facilities which submit latitude and longitude data are included on the map. For the current map, two facilities are not included 
Install
Click on the Clean Air Markets Facility Map link (above) to open the file in Google Earth.
To open a saved Clean Air Markets Facility Map file in Google Earth:
- Start Google Earth.
- From the File menu, select Open.
- Select the Clean Air Markets Facility Map file (cam.kmz) and click Open.
To save the Clean Air Markets Facility Map for the next time Google Earth is used, drag the Clean Air Markets Facility Map folder to My Places in the Places panel.
Use
Click on the Placemark icons to view facility information. Data include:
- Facility Name
- Office of Regulatory Information Systems Plant Location (ORISPL) number
- State & County
- Link to the XML-formated Monitoring Plan
- Links for directions to/from the facility
To download Monitoring Plan files, either:
- Right-click the Monitoring Plan link in the Placemark balloon, select Copy Link, then paste the link into a browser's address bar, or
- Configure Google Earth to access files. From the Tools menu, select Options, click the General tab, check 'Show web results in external browser' in the Display section, then check 'Allow access to local files and personal data' in the Placemark balloons section.
Monitoring Plan data for each facility is in Emissions Collection and Monitoring Plan System (ECMPS) eXtensible Markup Language (XML) format.
